Referencing an Online Journal
When referencing an online journal article, follow these steps:
- Last name, First name: Author's last name, first name.
- Year of publication (in brackets): Year.
- Title of the article (in single quotation marks): 'Title of the article'.
- Title of the journal (in italics, bold or underlined): Title of the journal.
- Volume, Issue and Page numbers: Volume X, Issue Y, pages Z.
- Name of the collection (in italics, bold or underlined): Name of the collection.
- Phrase 'is online' (in square brackets): [is online].
- Words 'available at' followed by URL (with arrows): available at www.itg-instructor-training.co.uk.
- Word 'accessed' and date: accessed 27th September 2022.
Referencing a Web Page
When referencing a webpage, follow these steps:
- Last name, First name: Author's last name, first name.
- Year of publication or last updated (in brackets): Year.
- Title of the internet site (in italics, bold or underlined): ITG Instructor Training.
- Words 'available at' followed by URL (with arrows): available at www.itg-instructor-training.co.uk.
- Word 'accessed' and date: accessed 27th September 2022.
